Creating Space
A study of young people’s use of Internet forums for articulating their life situations
The aim of the project is to recognize how Webb sites with an ambition to support and guide young people in difficult matters related to gender and sexuality are shaped and used by the target group. The project also turns towards identification of gender constructions and how these are problematized in on-line communication between young people and there adult “helpers”. A final aim is to explore how patterns of interaction between young people and adults in the role of supporters can be related to young people’s expressed needs of support.
